I am inspired by the light on the landscape. From intense sunrises and dramatic skies, to the way the sun falls on the hedgerow.
I have always loved the medium of paint. Its immediate and tactile quality and ability to be manipulated on the canvas, creating something magical that captures the essence of the subject.
I trained in Fine Art, graduating from Brighton university in 2007 in Fine Art, painting.
Since then I have created my own work for exhibitions, worked on public Art commissions and run painting courses and workshops.
My Paintings
Landscapes, florals and skyscapes. All my work is usually started out on site and then developed in my studio at Old Printworks Arts in Radstock where I am artist in residence. Studio visits are welcome by appointment.
